Mind
Mind is considered as the being itself, as is the Mind, so is the being. Prana is the energy essential in nature which makes the conditioning of the Mind – creation of samskaras – possible; therefore prana comes into action where there’s Mind, and Mind exists because of prana.
Body
Yoga asanas ( postures or acts) help condition your body. There are thousands of yoga poses, and in Sanskrit, these poses are called kriyas ( conduct), mudras (seals), and bandhas ( cinches). A kriya focuses on the trouble necessary to move energy up and down the spinal column; yoga mudra is a gesture or movement to hold energy or concentrate mindfulness; and a bandha uses the fashion of holding muscular condensation to concentrate mindfulness.
Spirit
Yoga uses controlled breathing as a way to combine the mind, body, and spirit. The breathing ways are called pranayamas; prana means energy or life force, and yama means social ethics. It’s believed that the controlled breathing of pranayamas will control the energy inflow in your body. It’s my experience that controlled breathing helps me concentrate on muscles that are working, and during savasana, it slows down my heart rate, calms my mind, and leads to a deep, inner calm and sense of relaxation.
